Hiya All...

Welcome to my photo blog started to inaugurate the new year of 2011... Let it be a happy one for us all...
I am new to this 'blogging' & am sure this is going to be fun..

Photography is a way in which I connect to the world by capturing a moment in time that speaks to me through its emotive nature, beauty, subjects or just creating a memory...
I love working with Natural light and candid shots.

My toy is a Canon 7D with Speedlite 580EX II and I use the Canon 70-300mmIS, Canon 24-70mm/f2.8, Sigma 18-55mm and Sigma 10-20mm.

My passion & hobby is wildlife photography & Kruger Park is one of my fav places...(until I go to all the others)

My portfolio includes a variety of subjects and Studio work is still going to be added...

Zebra

Posted by Picasa
The striking pattern of stripes in savannah zebras is different in each animal. Therefore the members of a family can recognise each other by their stripes. Although the stripes are extremely visible at close range, they make a good camouflage from far away and provide protection against predators. Lions in particular like to prey on zebras.
The group behaviour of zebras is fascinating. They live in small family units of up to 20 members, lead by a stallion. The families stay together for many years. If an animal gets lost, the group can spend days looking for it.
